Illinois High School Baseball - Hanover Central can't hold off Lincoln-Way West

In Sunday's non-league game, the host Lincoln-Way West Warriors baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Hanover Central Wildcats.
The Warriors (19-6) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Knights come into the Southwest Suburban - Red test with a 18-8 record. In their last test, Lincoln-Way Central nipped Normal West (Normal, IL), 15-2, in a non-league test.
With the defeat, Hanover Central falls to 13-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Griffith (Griffith, IN) to battle the Panthers in a Greater Southshore test on Monday, May 8. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 8-8. Griffith lost 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN)
