Grand Island Vikings (Grand Island, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Williamsville South Billies (Williamsville, NY), 15-9 in a league battle.

The Vikings now have a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Iroquois for a Class C battle on Friday, May 10. Grand Island will clash with a Redhawks squad coming off a 16-7 league loss to Amherst Central (Amherst, NY). The Redhawks record now stands at 3-8.

In their next game, the Billies clash with the Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY) in a Class C battle, on Friday, May 10. Williamsville South will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 10-4 record after their 19-4 league win over Lewiston-Porter (Youngstown, NY).
