The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Willowbrook Warriors (Villa Park, IL) and the host Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL), saw Willowbrook's softball squad nip Montini Catholic by a count of 6-1.

The Warriors now sport a 15-9 record. They take the field next when they host Hinsdale South for a West Suburban - Gold match on Friday, May 10. Willowbrook will face a Hornets squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 8-13.

With the loss, Montini Catholic falls to 9-21 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL) to face the Wolfpack in a non-league match on Monday, May 13. The Wolfpack enter the match with a record of 14-16. Saint Ignatius College Prep won 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Northside (Chicago, IL)
