In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Donovan Catholic Griffins baseball team scored a close 10-6 win over the Marlboro Mustangs.
The Griffins (2-11) will now prepare for their game against Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 12-5 record.
Next, the Mustangs play the Liberty Lions (Jackson, NJ) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 10. Marlboro will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Lions go into the game with a 5-11 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ).
