The Hopkinsville Tigers (Hopkinsville, KY) softball routed the host Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY), 16-4 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Tigers now sport a 18-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Muhlenberg County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 13.
With the loss, Trigg County moves to 18-11 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Livingston Central (Smithland, KY) to encounter the Cardinals in a District 5 outing on Thursday, May 8. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 20-4. Livingston Central won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY)
