The Huron Tigers triumphed over the host Brookside Cardinals softball squad by a count of 11-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 9. Huron will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Tornadoes enter the contest with a 1-14 record after their 11-2 league loss to Clyde (Clyde, OH).

The Cardinals now hold a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Keystone for a Lorain County 8 contest on Saturday, May 9. Brookside will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Firelands (Oberlin, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-4.
