The Providence Catholic Celtics lacrosse squad (New Lenox, IL), was overwhelmed 16-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL)
Coming up next, the Cadets meet the Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 13. Marmion will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL).
The Celtics now sport a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Latin for a challenge on Wednesday, May 10. Providence Catholic will meet a Romans squad coming off a 20-12 league win over Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL). The Romans record now stands at 9-6.
