The Guilford Grizzlies lacrosse team scored 9 points and held the visiting Hand Tigers to 8 in the Grizzlies league win on Thursday.

The Grizzlies (11-3) will now prepare for their match against Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT). The Trojans go into the Southern Connecticut match with a 11-4 record. In their last match, Lyman Hall nudged West Haven (West Haven, CT), 21-6, in a league match.

The Tigers (5-10) will now prepare for their match against Minnechaug Regional (Wilbraham, MA). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Minnechaug Regional was tipped by Longmeadow (Longmeadow, MA), 19-2, in a non-league match.
