Indiana High School Baseball - Castle holds off New Palestine

June 10, 2023: Newburgh, IN 47630

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) baseball squad the visiting New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN), by a final score of 7-3.

With the win, Castle upgrades its record to 25-7 on the season. The Knights travel to Center Grove (Greenwood, IN) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 10. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 27-3. Center Grove won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Columbus North (Columbus, IN)

With the defeat, New Palestine falls to 23-10 on the season.

This game is a part of the 2022-23 IHSAA Class 4A Baseball State Tournament - Class 4A State Championship
