The Baxter baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Riceville Wildcats to 1 in the non-league victory on Monday.
The (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA). The Dons go into the non-league match with a 15-3 record.
The Wildcats (4-9) will now prepare for their match against St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA). The Saints go into the non-league match with a 12-6 record. In their last match, St. Ansgar gained a win over Central Springs (Manly, IA), 6-0, in a non-league match.
