The Waterloo East Trojans baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Des Moines North Polar Bears to 0 in the Trojans non-league win on Thursday.

The Trojans now own a 6-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league test on Monday, June 23. Waterloo East will play a Hawks team coming off a 18-2 non-league loss to Kennedy (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-25.

With the defeat, Des Moines North drops to 0-13 on the year. The Polar bears travel to Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA) to play the Scarlets in a Alliance Conference - South test on Monday, June 23. The Scarlets go into the test with a record of 3-12. Des Moines East lost 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Fort Dodge (Fort Dodge, IA)
