Rhode Island High School Softball - La Salle Academy felled by Pilgrim

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Pilgrim Patriots softball team scored a nice 8-0 triumph over the La Salle Academy Rams.

With the triumph, Pilgrim moves its record to 20-3 on the year.

In their next game, the Rams play the Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, June 4. La Salle Academy will attempt to move on its 14-6 season record. The Sentinels come into the contest with a 12-8 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI).
