The West Fork Warhawks (Sheffield, IA) baseball trounced the host Northwood-Kensett Vikings (Northwood, IA), 11-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Warhawks now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newman Catholic for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 23. West Fork will clash with a Knights team coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA). The Knights record now stands at 13-5.
With the defeat, Northwood-Kensett drops to 3-12 on the year. The Vikings travel to Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 24. The Broncos go into the challenge with a record of 2-11. Belmond-Klemme lost 14-2 in their recent league challenge against Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA)
