The Hampton-Dumont/CAL baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets to 6 in the non-league victory on Friday.
The (7-13) will now prepare for their match against St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA). The Gaels go into the North Central match with a 6-8 record. In their last match, St. Edmond was overwhelmed by Algona (Algona, IA), 14-1, in a non-league match.
The Cadets (4-11) will now prepare for their match against Algona (Algona, IA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 20-4 record. In their last battle, Algona held off St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA), 14-1, in a non-league battle.
