The Sioux City East Black Raiders softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Harlan Cyclones to 7 in the Black Raiders non-league win on Wednesday.

The Black Raiders now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Heelan Catholic for a non-league battle on Thursday, June 27. Sioux City East will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 1-0 league win over Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA). The Crusaders record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Harlan moves to 3-26 on the season. The Cyclones host Clarinda (Clarinda, IA) to confront the Cardinals in a Hawkeye 10 battle on Thursday, June 27. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 26-6. Clarinda won 13-2 in their recent non-league battle against Underwood (Underwood, IA)
