The Marcellus Wildcats baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish to 6 in the Wildcats non-league win on Saturday.

The Wildcats now own a 22-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jeffers for a non-league test on Friday, June 12. Marcellus will clash with a Jets team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Mio-Au Sable (Mio, MI). The Jets record now stands at 12-6.

With the defeat, Hackett Catholic Prep drops to 27-11 on the year.
