In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Spencer Tigers baseball team scored a nice 16-1 victory over the Sioux Central Rebels.
The Tigers (10-10) will now prepare for their game against Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 25-14 record. In their last game, Sergeant Bluff-Luton was overwhelmed by Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA), 7-0, in a league game.
Next, the Rebels face the Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, July 5. Sioux Central will attempt to improve on its 10-14 season record. The Orabs enter the game with a 7-13 record after their 5-1 league win over Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA).
