North Carolina High School Volleyball - Avery County over Freedom

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Avery County Vikings (Newland, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Vikings face the West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 17. Avery County will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

With the loss, Freedom moves to 0-2 on the year. The Patriots host Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC) to face the Cougars in a non-league contest on Monday, August 21. The Cougars go into the contest with a record of 1-0. Mountain Heritage won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Asheville (Asheville, NC)
