North Carolina High School Volleyball - Marvin Ridge over Cannon

The Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Mavericks now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Catawba Ridge for a non-league bout on Friday, August 16.

With the loss, Cannon drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Reagan (Pfafftown, NC) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 17. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Reagan won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC)
