South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad top the host North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV), 24-6 in a non-league test.

The Vikings now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wooster for a non-league test on Friday, August 22. South Tahoe will meet a Colts squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Colts record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, North Valleys drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to meet the Greenwave in a non-league test on Friday, August 22. The Greenwave come into the test with a record of 0-0.
