In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Austin Maroons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Vista Ridge Rangers.
The Maroons (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Liberty Hill went down by Round Rock (Round Rock, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
The Rangers (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Hutto (Hutto, TX). The Hippos come into the 6A Region IV District 25 outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Hutto lost by Brenham (Brenham, TX), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
