North Carolina High School Volleyball - Pinecrest over Ashley

Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC), 3-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Terry Sanford Bulldogs (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 22. Pinecrest will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC).

With the loss, Ashley drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Screaming eagle travel to Green Level (Cary, NC) to clash with the Gators in a non-league match on Monday, August 22. The Gators come into the match with a record of 2-1. Green Level lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Millbrook (Raleigh, NC)
