The War Eagles now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bryan County for a 1A D-II Region 3 outing on Tuesday, August 19. Jenkins County will encounter a Redskins team coming off a 12-4 non-league loss to Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Montgomery County drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Treutlen (Soperton, GA) to meet the Vikings in a 1A D-II Region 4 test on Tuesday, August 19. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 3-0. Treutlen won 3-2 in their recent league test against Telfair County (McRae, GA)
