In Tuesday's non-league match, the Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the host North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 26. Tuscola will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC).

The Black Hawks (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC). The Mountaineers enter the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Mitchell was outscored by Erwin (Asheville, NC), 3-1, in a non-league match.
