Portland Panthers (Portland, TN) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers confront the Goodpasture Christian Cougars (Madison, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 23. Portland will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Siegel (Murfreesboro, TN).
