Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team tip the host Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK), 14-8 in a league battle.

With the win, Service improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cougars host Eagle River (Eagle River, AK) to play the Wolves in a Cook Inlet battle on Tuesday, August 27. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Eagle River lost 19-0 in their recent league battle against Chugiak (Chugiak, AK)

The Lynx now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Anchorage for a Cook Inlet battle on Tuesday, August 27. Dimond will play a Eagles team coming off a 26-0 league win over Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
