Mississippi High School Volleyball - Resurrection Catholic over East Marion

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Resurrection Catholic Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the East Marion Eagles.
The Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS). The Crusaders come into the Class 1A Region 8 challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Sacred Heart beat Salem (Tylertown, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies (Brooklyn, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 26. East Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Aggies come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lawrence County (Monticello, MS).
