The King Brahmas prevailed the host Miller Buccaneers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Brahmas confront the Katy Taylor Mustangs (Katy, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 22. King will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Cypress Creek (Houston, TX).

Next, the Buccaneers meet the Flour Bluff Hornets (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Miller will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
