The Jal Panthers (Jal, NM) volleyball nudged the visiting New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Jal betters its record to 1-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Eunice (Eunice, NM) to face the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Friday, August 26. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 0-0.

The Colts now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Loving for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 30. New Mexico Military Institute will play a Falcons squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM). The Falcons record now stands at 1-2.
