Kentucky High School Football - Pike County Central sneaks past West Carter

The Pike County Central Hawks football squad scored 20 points and limited the host West Carter Comets to 14 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martin County for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Pike County Central will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 51-20 non-league loss to Hazard (Hazard, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, West Carter drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Estill County (Irvine, KY) to meet the Engineers in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Engineers come into the test with a record of 0-1.
