The Natchez Bulldogs topped the visiting Jefferson County Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Florence for a Class 5 Region 6 test on Tuesday, August 29. Natchez will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 2-9.

The Tigers (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS). The Blue Waves enter the Class 3 Region 7 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Port Gibson beat Lanier (Jackson, MS), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
