In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Gray Stone Day Knights soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Bishop McGuinness Villains.
The Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Buckin' Elks come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Elkin nudged Surry Central (Dobson, NC), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Villains (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Southwestern Randolph North Davidson (Lexington, NC), 3-3, in a non-league bout.
