Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Poth Pirates (Poth, TX), 27-23 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Blanco improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Apaches in a non-league test on Friday, September 1. The Apaches come into the test with a record of 1-0. Antonian Prep won 47-20 in their recent non-league test against Holy Cross (San Antonio, TX)

With the loss, Poth drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Falls City (Falls City, TX) to confront the Beavers in a non-league test on Friday, September 1. The Beavers enter the battle with a record of 1-0. Falls City won 48-33 in their recent non-league battle against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX)
