The Anclote Sharks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Tarpon Springs Spongers to 0 in the Sharks non-league victory on Friday.
The Sharks now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fivay for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 29. Anclote will meet a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Land O' Lakes (Land O' Lakes, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.
The Spongers (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Boca Ciega (Gulfport, FL). The Pirates enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Boca Ciega was dropped by Largo (Largo, FL), 3-1, in a non-league game.
