The Falls City Tigers football team (Falls City, NE), was ripped 40-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE)

The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln Christian trounced Lincoln Lutheran (Lincoln, NE), 34-27, in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairbury for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 2. Falls City will meet a Jeffs team coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Tri County (DeWitt, NE). The Jeffs record now stands at 1-0.
