In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Waterloo Pirates football squad scored a big 42-0 victory over the Riverdale Chieftains.
In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Markesan Hornets (Markesan, WI) in a Eastern Suburban match, on Friday, September 2. Waterloo will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 28-21 non-league win over Laconia (Rosendale, WI).
The Chieftains (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Ithaca (Richland Center, WI). The Bulldogs enter the Ridge & Valley match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Ithaca was crushed by Potosi/Cassville (Potosi, WI), 36-8, in a non-league match.
