Nevada High School Volleyball - Battle Mountain tips Pershing County

August 26, 2023: Battle Mountain, NV 89820

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) volleyball squad edged the visiting Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Longhorns battle the West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 26. Battle Mountain will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Wolverines come into the contest with a 9-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV).

With the loss, Pershing County drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV) to meet the Bighorns in a 2A Northern challenge on Wednesday, August 30. The Bighorns enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Oasis Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV)
