Illinois High School Volleyball - Mt. Olive can't get by Lutheran

The Lutheran Crusaders edged the visiting Mt. Olive Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Crusaders confront the Triad Knights (Troy, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 29. Lutheran will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Red Bud (Red Bud, IL).

The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Calvary (Springfield, IL). The Saints enter the MSM bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Calvary nipped Lanphier (Springfield, IL), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
