The Cougars now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Alleghany for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 27. Covington will play a Mountaineers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Covington (Covington, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 0-3.
