The Loogootee Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Pike Central Chargers to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.

The Lions now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Knox for a non-league game on Saturday, August 27. Loogootee will meet a Spartans team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Wood Memorial (Oakland City, IN). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.

The Chargers (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Princeton (Princeton, IN). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Princeton was dropped by Washington (Washington, IN), 3-2, in a league game.
