Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), 8-0 in a non-league battle.

With the defeat, Orange County drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Fighting hornets travel to King George (King George, VA) to meet the Foxes in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3.
