The Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) volleyball were winner over the visiting East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC), 2-0 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, Dixon betters its record to 5-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC) to face the Stallions in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 29. The Stallions go into the outing with a record of 0-4.
The Mariners now sport a 1-3 record. They play next when they host West Craven for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 5. East Carteret will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.
