Colorado High School Flag Football - ThunderRidge nudges Chatfield

August 28, 2025: Highlands Ranch, CO 80129

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the ThunderRidge Grizzlies (Highlands Ranch, CO) and the visiting Chatfield Chargers (Littleton, CO), saw ThunderRidge's flag football team nip Chatfield by a final score of 14-7.

With the win, ThunderRidge advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Grizzlies host Chaparral (Parker, CO) to encounter the Wolverines in a 5A/4A Continental battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Wolverines go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Chaparral won 55-0 in their recent non-league match against Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO)

Coming up next, the Chargers confront the Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 30. Chatfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 33-6 non-league loss to Arvada West (Arvada, CO).
