Liberty Red Devils (Liberty, SC) followers were content Thursday as they observed their football squad smash the visiting Southside Tigers (Greenville, SC), 52-0 in a non-league match.

The Red Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Pickens (Pickens, SC). The Blue Flame come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Pickens routed Walhalla (Walhalla, SC), 34-26, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Berea Bulldogs (Greenville, SC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 11. Southside will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
