Pasco Pirates (Dade City, FL) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their football squad thwart the host River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL), 16-8 in a non-league match.

The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Anclote (Holiday, FL). The Sharks come into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.

Coming up next, the Royal Knights confront the Cypress Creek Coyotes (Wesley Chapel, FL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 11. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
