North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Burke over Hibriten

The East Burke Cavaliers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Hibriten Panthers to 0 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cavaliers now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Caldwell for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 2. East Burke will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to East Rutherford (Bostic, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-4.

The Panthers (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Chase was topped by R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
