Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the John Paul II Catholic Saints (Greenville, NC) and the host Thales Academy Rolesville Knights (Rolesville, NC), saw John Paul II Catholic's volleyball squad notch a victory over Thales Academy Rolesville by a score of 2-0.

With the win, John Paul II Catholic improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Saints travel to Perquimans (Hertford, NC) to battle the Pirates in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 2. The Pirates enter the contest with a record of 1-3. Perquimans won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Princeton (Princeton, NC)

Next, the Knights battle the Neuse Christian Academy Lions (Raleigh, NC) in a battle, on Tuesday, September 2. Thales Academy Rolesville will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Lions go into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 league win over Thales Academy Apex (Apex, NC).
