The Bulldogs (15-2) will now prepare for their battle against Holland (Holland, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Holland was defeated by Bremond (Bremond, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valor Preparatory Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Bruceville-Eddy will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Providence Prep (Belton, TX). The Knights record now stands at 15-7.
