The South Granville Vikings football team (Creedmoor, NC), was knocked off 40-20 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Heritage Huskies (Wake Forest, NC)
The Huskies (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Capitals come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Broughton knocked off Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC), 42-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lee County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 1. South Granville will meet a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Overhills (Spring Lake, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 2-0.
