In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Carrier Mills-Stonefort Wildcats volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Agape Christian Knights.

The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Cobden (Cobden, IL). The Appleknockers come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Cobden was edged by Christopher (Christopher, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Knights encounter the Century Centurions (Ullin, IL) in a South Egyptian battle, on Thursday, September 7. Agape Christian will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
